With the release of debut single "Kids", Teesside band The Chapman Family will finally give the rest of the world the chance to hear the newest sound of the underground.
The band's no-surrender battalion of white noise and dark truth is moving forward from a Glastonbury triumph, a nomination in NME's Top Ten bands to look out for in 2009 and an ever-growing army that is seeing them being whispered about as a modern day Joy Division.
Meet Kingsley (vocals / black guitar), Paul (red guitar), Phil (drums) and Pop (bass / distortion). Together they cook up a firestorm of feedback drenched punk with the dynamics of The Sex Pistols, the intensity of The Fall and the discordance of Shellac.
